ONEworship - Weekend Service

Welcome to Everett's First Baptist Church:

We hope you’ll join us for our ONEworship service to see for yourself what we’re about. Through drama, multi-media presentations, contemporary music and practical messages, we present the timeless truths of the Bible in a format that's easy to understand, even if you've never been to church.

NEW FALL SUNDAY WORSHIP SCHEDULE

Beginning September 9, 2007 through December 2007, we will offer ONEworship every Sunday morning at 10:30 am with small groups meeting at 9:00 am.  The theme of ONEworship through the fall will be GROW UP! based on the New Testament book of 1 Corinthians.

Children through adults will be involved in small groups at 9:00 am.  Children will be involved in life groups the first hour, and continue to be a part of ONEworship for the first thirty minutes before they head off to their own children’s worship back in KIDs ministry.  Middle Schools students will do life groups at 9:00 while Senior Highers will be involved in a large group experience where God’s Word will be unpacked in a relevant and practical way.

We call our weekend worship services ONEworship because we believe that what brings pleasure to God and the most powerful witness we can offer our world is God’s people coming together from our varied backgrounds in the unity of God's love and compassion.

If you have children

drop them off at our childrens' ministry. Preschoolers meet during both services. Preschoolers are age graded and led by at least two caring and dedicated leaders. Prayer, age appropriate lessons, games, crafts, snacks, special activities and a visit to the playroom happen every Sunday morning. K-5 th grade children are invited to the Community Center at 9 and 10:30 am for graded activities and lessons. There is creative large group music and teaching followed by a small group discussion and learning time. This fun, high-energy experience happens in the elementary room of the Community Center every Sunday.

After the service

drop by the Hospitality Room for a chance to meet with the morning’s ONEworship teacher, learn more about the church, and explore opportunities to get connected.

Drama

We are looking for persons who would enjoy being involved in Sunday morning dramas, either on the stage or working behind the scenes with props and set-up. Contact Gloria at gloria @fbc-everett.org if interested.

The Worship Choir

Love to sing? Weekly rehearsals are on Wednesday nights. We will be singing once a month during the fall/winter worship services and preparing for a Christmas worship presentation. We need you! No audition required. Come join this fun group from 7:15-8:30 pm. Childcare is provided.

Greeter Ministry

Psalm 84:10. We need more greeters for both our 9:00 and 10:30 hours. If you would be willing to serve as a greeter, even once a month, please contact us.

Worship Team

If you are interested in being a part of the Sunday morning worship team, we would love to explore that possibility with you. We are always looking for experienced musicians and vocalists who love to use their gifts to help lead the congregation in worship on Sunday morning.
