Welcome!

          First Baptist Church is a diverse community of believers in Jesus Christ. We love that fact that God creates us all uniquely, and yet we've joined together to embrace God's vision for us: GROWING TOGETHER IN CHRIST.  We think that the spiritual life can be summed up in one word: RELATIONSHIPS! 

          The most important relationship is one God offers to us freely through personal faith in Jesus Christ.  When can have a relationship with God where we experience forgiveness for our past failures, the assurance of God's transforming presence for us today and a hope for an adventurous future.

          We believe that God not only wants us to be committed to a relationship with Him, but God wants us to be connected to one another  in healthy growing relationships.  Jesus said, "By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another."  So authentic, caring relationships are real important to us.

          Finally, we are excited about the fact that God has given all of us an opportunity to contribute to mission of Christ of leading others into a vibrant, life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ.  we beleive that the church, mobilzed in the power of the Spirit is the hope of the world.  God has called us together to offer this world hope.
