Welcome- What to expect at FBC!
First Baptist Church is a diverse community of believers in Jesus Christ. We love that fact that delight God creates us all uniquely, and we've joined together to lead people into a vibrant, life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ. Our Campus is located at 1616 Pacific Avenue in downtown Everett, Washington - right across from the Court House.
What would I experience on a Sunday morning?
As you step on our campus you will be greeted by one of our many hosts who want to help you get where you want to go. Each Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m. we offer our informal Cafe Worship in our Community Center in a café setting. Come with your coffee from our Pacific Espresso and join us for a smaller more informal worship gathering, where questions are welcomed and discussion is common during the teaching
Each Sunday at 10:30 a.m. we offer The Gathering Worship in our Worship Center. All worship services at FBC are comprised of the two primary elements: powerful worship through music, drama and singing and a practical, life-changing teaching. Worship at FBC is led by a worship leader with a talented live band and the style is consistent with today’s culture. After a time of singing, a relevant teaching from the Bible is given by our lead teaching pastor Brian Harpell or one of our other teaching pastors. Dress is casual. A worship experience lasts for one hour and fifteen minutes.
What about my children?
Our children’s ministry is designed uniquely for ages, birth through fifth grade. In LIFE groups at 9:00 a.m. your child will experience engaging age-appropriate teaching and activities developed to point your child toward an authentic relationship with Christ.
At 10:30 our children have an opportunity to have their own KIDs on the ROCK WORSHIP with music and teachingappropriate to their age while parents are in ONEWorship.
Our pre-school ministry utilizes a system that ensures a safe environment for your child and also allows for efficient drop-off and pick-up for parents. All the children’s staff is dedicated to fulfilling our mission, which is: “…partnering with parents to provide our children with the opportunity to have a vibrant, life-changing relationship with Jesus.”
Anything for Students?
Our student ministry has multiple opportunities for students in sixth grade through twelfth grade to get involved and is dedicated to connecting the heart of your student to the heart of God. On Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m. middle school students have an opportunity to be in a L.I.F.E. group while senior high students are attending Cafe ONEworship.
At 10:30 a.m. on Sundays, we encourage middle school students to take part in Celebration ONEworship with their parents in the Worship Center.
Anything more?
Yes! Don’t leave campus on Sunday morning without coming by the Hospitality Room to get your free drink from our Pacific Espresso—just our way of saying, “Thanks for joining us! Come back soon!”
